Introduction to the FATF Global Standards, Methodology and Procedures, Training Course No.(2/2025) (28-7-2025 to 30-7-2025)

The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Proficiency Training Course, Batch No. (2/2025), for competent authorities was held from July 28, 2025, to July 30, 2025, at the Training Hall of the Myanmar Financial Intelligence Unit (MFIU) Office in Nay Pyi Taw, with the participation of 38 trainees.

In preparation for the successful implementation of the Mutual Evaluation Process (ME) to be conducted in the 2028-2029 fiscal year, the training introduced and covered international standards on anti-money laundering, mutual evaluation methodologies and processes, as well as the recommended standards, techniques, and procedures of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
